The Julian Charter School’s Phoenix Learning Center, a small, nonprofit K-7 charter school located in Encinitas, is preparing for our 2nd Annual Silent Auction. This event will take place on February 15, 2012. We will be inviting over 100 parents, staff and community members to attend. Like all schools in California, we have been severely affected by state budget cuts, so we are working hard to come up with creative ways to bridge the gap so our children’s education is not compromised.
In order to make this event a success, we are asking for support from our community in the shape of donations to be used for the silent auction. Each participating business will be recognized in print and verbally the night of the event.
We are seeking gift baskets, gift cards/certificates as well as items to create gift baskets (toys, sporting gear, event tickets, spa products, accessories, artwork, etc.). Every penny your donation brings in will go right back to our school, supporting our teachers and improving the educational experience for our scholars.
The JCS Phoenix Learning Center’s mission is to create a community of compassionate, innovative, life-long learners who continually strive for excellence. Your generous donation for our event is greatly appreciated by the children, parents, teachers and community surrounding PLC.
